The University of Worcester launched a survey which aims to explore how victims of domestic abuse experience the Family Court system.
We would like the findings to be as representative as possible to ensure that all victims' voices are heard. If you are a victim of domestic abuse and/or coercive control, and have attended Family Court in England or Wales for a private law separation dispute, please take part in this research project.
We know that too often, men in particular, tend to forget that domestic abuse and coercive control can include threats of witholding children if they leave, if the children meet their new partner, if the do or don't do this or that or don't pay more money, etc. We know too that they often fear reporting their experiences, not least for fear of loss of access to their children. Have your say!
