We have officially started accepting votes for FNF Ordinary Resolution from today. Please make sure you are logged into your FNF account before clicking on the voting link. Any votes received after the votes are counted at the AGM won't be counted.

VOTING AT THE AGM

Since the Notice of the AGM was sent to Members, Alexandra Lessing has given notice of her resignation as a Trustee. This means that there will not now be a need for a vote and all candidates will become Trustees during the AGM, subject to usual checks on their being entitled to be company directors.

Due to Covid-19, the vote will be carried out electronically and we now have just two official votes:
  • Special Resolution to amend M&As which will be voted on the day by all those present.
  • Ordinary Resolution for a similar change and adoption of an 'FNF Charter'. We have already started accepting votes for this Ordinary Resolution. Any votes received after the votes are counted at the AGM won't be counted.
We strongly encourage members to look at the minutes of the last AGM and our Annual Report & Accounts ahead of AGM as there will not be time to look at these documents afresh during the meeting.

ORDINARY RESOLUTION

Who is eligible to vote and how?

  • You must have had a membership subscription for a year or more continuously at the date/time of the AGM.
  • When you login you will be presented with a set of resolutions, the board's recommendations on the resolution and 3 voting options, Yes, No, Abstain and Proxy.
  • You will have to select the option for each and then press submit.
  • An email will be sent with a record of how you voted. This will include the full text of the proposals once they're defined.
  • A record is made of the users vote in a database table on our website. You will be able to return to change your vote as many times as you like, up until the time we unpublish the voting form.

We suggest that members vote on the Ordinary Resolution before Saturday to make sure they are able to log into their FNF email accounts on the day.

REGISTRATION

FNF is a Membership charity. It means that Members have a say in the running and administration of the charity. If we do not have sufficient involvement of Members it becomes impossible to make changes such as the ones proposed for this AGM that clarify our purpose which, in turn affects everything we do and the support we can seek. If you haven't registered to attend our AGM yet, make sure you register today to have your say!

Attendance is free of charge to all Members - you will get an email from Zoom with a link for joining the AGM on the day as soon as you register for the event on our website.

Please make sure you are signed into your FNF account before registering. Should you have any difficulties with this, please contact us on admin@fnf.org.uk and we will assist you. If too many people have difficulties on the day, it may prove to be too difficult to help everyone.
