Register now to attend FNF Annual General Meeting and have your say!

Our  FNF AGM 2020 will be held on Saturday 5th December at 10am to 11:30am (approx) and a workshop will follow after a break. Make sure you register today to have your say!

REGISTRATION

In order to join the AGM, you will need to register to the Zoom meeting. Please make sure you are signed into your FNF account before registering. You do not need to know your username to login – your registered email address can be used instead of the username. Should you have any difficulties with this, please contact us on admin@fnf.org.uk with 'AGM' in the subject heading and we will assist you. If too many people have difficulties on the day, it may prove to be too difficult to help everyone.

Note that the AGM can only be attended by FNF Members - Attendance is free of charge to all Members.

VOTING AT THE AGM

Since the Notice of the AGM was sent to Members, Alexandra Lessing has given notice of her resignation as a Trustee. This means that there will not now be a need for a vote and all candidates will become Trustees during the AGM, subject to usual checks on their being entitled to be company directors.

Due to Covid-19, the vote will be carried out electronically and we now have just two official votes:
  • Special Resolution to amend M&As which will be voted on the day by all those present.
  • Ordinary Resolution for a similar change and adoption of an 'FNF Charter'. We will start accepting votes for this Ordinary Resolution from the 3rd of December when voting details will be sent out. Any votes received after the votes are counted at the AGM won't be counted.

FNF WORKSHOP ON DEALING WITH SCHOOLS AND DOCTORS

There will be a short break after the AGM and between midday and 1pm there will be a workshop on dealing with schools and doctors after family separation and other practical suggestions for getting further help.

FNF is a Membership charity. It means that Members have a say in the running and administration of the charity. If we do not have sufficient involvement of Members it becomes impossible to make changes such as the ones proposed for this AGM that clarify our purpose which, in turn, affects everything we do and the support we can seek.
